Liopetri, near Ayia Napa, hosts the Pancypriot Carrot Festival at the Achyrona Municipal Stadium. The event celebrates the region's famous carrot harvest with sweet and savoury dishes, cocktails, jams, liqueurs, carrot cakes and ice creams. Local artists perform throughout the evening and the headline concert features popular Greek singer Giannis Ploutarchos.
